Your kids (infant to 5th grade) will learn about Jesus in a creative, fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment.
Our Cornerstone Kids Ministry is a ministry of the church where we are committed to teaching them the Word of God in an age-appropriate way, modeling what it is like to walk with Jesus, and have fun in the process! We have wonderful volunteers that have a heart for children and that is displayed every time they are serving.
The Nursery is a nurturing environment for young babies that also includes toys for little ones that are more mobile. Snack is provided if desired. Please check your baby in at the Kids Check-In Desk in the lobby before dropping them off. Drop off is available 15 minutes before each church service and parents will receive a Pager and will be buzzed if they are needed at any time during the service.
The Toddler Class is for those that are two years old (exceptions are made for early walkers that need to move up earlier from the Nursery) through three years of age. We have age-appropriate toys, read a Bible story and complete a craft or allow them to color based on their developmental level and ability. We also provide a snack, water, and juice if the parent allows. Most importantly, our goal is to help them feel loved and comforted while having fun and learning about Jesus.
The Preschool Class is an engaging environment for four year olds through Kindergarten aged kids. Each week a developmental and age-appropriate Bible lesson is prepared and taught with a craft. There is also a time for playing with toys and snack is provided each week. Most importantly, your child will feel the love of Jesus while having fun!
The heart of Cornerstone is that even children are learning the Word of God. We use a strong Biblical curriculum called The Gospel Project. Every week, your child will learn a story from the Bible and will go through the entire Old and New Testament in three years. A fun craft or activity is provided along with the weekly Bible story. We desire to teach children the Books of the Bible and how to find them so they will experience opening the Bible and reading from it every week. There is a monthly Bible verse and we memorize it using American Sign Language. Snack is also provided.
